The Springfield Community Food Pantry provides food assistance to families in Sarpy and Cass counties. Operated by First United Methodist Church and supported by churches, schools, organizations, and local businesses, the pantry is a true community effort. Run entirely by volunteers, the pantry has grown from serving 35 families per month to 48 this year and currently has 112 families registered. There is no income requirement to receive general pantry items, and all are welcome. USDA commodities are available for those who meet federal eligibility guidelines.

We are currently working from a temporary space in the Springfield Community Schools Administration Building while we raise funds to build our permanent home.
